# Quick-turn PCB prototypes
Review expedited PCB fabrication requirements, engineering approval and production timing. Confirm the schedule for your board and keep transit time separate.

## Confirm the schedule for your construction
Expedited manufacturing depends on the layer structure, materials, copper, dimensions, quantity and special processes. Submit the required date with the fabrication package so the applicable schedule can be confirmed.
## When fabrication time starts
Fabrication timing starts at formal production release after engineering questions are resolved and manufacturing requirements are approved. Board completion and arrival at your destination are different milestones.
## Manage changes before release
Keep one approved revision for the build. If files change after release, contact the team and identify the exact replacement revision. Engineering and schedule confirmation are needed before changes are incorporated.
## Quick-turn planning priorities
An expedited order still needs complete data and engineering release. Separate the fabrication schedule from shipping and customs time, and identify whether your target is a ship date or an arrival date.
## Make quotations comparable
Compare quotations against the same board specification and deliverables. A lower total based on a different material, finish, copper construction or verification scope is not a like-for-like comparison.

## Changes between quotation and manufacture
Identify any revised files or requirements before the order is released. A change in material, construction, quantity or test scope may require the quotation and schedule to be reviewed. Do not combine a new artwork revision with an older drawing without explaining the differences.

## Before your next build
Does turnaround include shipping?
No. Fabrication, dispatch and transit should be confirmed separately. Specify a required ship date or arrival date.
Can a multilayer build be expedited?
Submit the multilayer stackup, materials, quantity and verification requirements for a project-specific schedule.
What can delay a quick-turn order?
Incomplete files, conflicting specifications, unresolved material choices and unapproved engineering questions can delay release. Confirm the final fabrication package and delivery basis before manufacture.
