# PCB manufacturing capabilities
Review PCB construction, materials, copper, drilling, surface finish and verification requirements before submitting a manufacturing quotation.
[Discuss your requirements ↗](https://www.chinasuqi.com/en/request-a-quote/)
## Evaluate the complete construction
PCBELEC supports rigid, multilayer, flexible, rigid-flex, HDI and specialized bare PCB requirements. Feasibility depends on the combination of material, thickness, copper, holes and acceptance criteria.
## Make critical requirements explicit
Provide the layer stackup, material system, inner and outer copper, finished thickness, hole definitions and applicable tolerances. Mark requirements that must remain unchanged and identify where alternatives may be proposed.
## Confirm applicable limits
Use project-specific engineering review to confirm achievable feature combinations. Minimum line width, drill diameter and maximum thickness are not independent selections. Final manufacturing requirements should be recorded with the released file revision.
## Why capability limits need context
A minimum feature or maximum layer count is meaningful only with its material, copper, thickness and process conditions. Avoid combining individual headline limits into a single assumed construction. Send the actual design when several demanding features appear on the same board.
## Use a structured capability review
Identify mandatory requirements and the features that may be adjusted. This gives engineering a clear basis for reviewing feasibility without changing the design intent.
| Review area | Important distinctions |
| --- | --- |
| Holes | Drill size versus finished hole; plated versus non-plated. |
| Copper | Starting foil versus finished copper; inner versus outer layers. |
| Thickness | Overall board thickness versus individual dielectric thickness. |
| HDI | Total layers versus buildup order and via spans. |
| Flex | Flat dimensions versus installed shape and local reinforcement. |
| Acceptance | Routine inspection versus explicitly requested measurements or reports. |
| Requirement | What to specify |
| --- | --- |
| Layer construction | Layer order, stackup, finished thickness and via spans |
| Materials and copper | Grade, alternatives, inner and outer finished copper |
| Features and tolerances | Line geometry, drill and finished holes, outline |
| Surface and acceptance | Finish, electrical targets, inspection and requested records |
